Govt Adds 10 New Commodities to e-NAM Platform to Boost Trade Efficiency
The Government has expanded the scope of the National Agriculture Market (e-NAM) by adding 10 new commodities to its digital trading platform. This initiative aims to strengthen agricultural marketing infrastructure and provide farmers with wider access to competitive markets across India.
With this inclusion, stakeholders including farmers, traders, exporters, and agri-business firms will benefit from improved price transparency, better interstate trade opportunities, and streamlined digital transactions. The move is expected to enhance market efficiency and increase income potential for farming communities.
